Out Of Character
[&]Name/Alias: LittlePanda
[&]Age: 38
[&]Experience: Roleplay wise, something around 19 years? Elfquest? Probably around 15 years?
[&]How You Found Us?: Elfquest.com!
[&]Member Title: None established.
[&]In the event of unexplained inactivity, should we kill off or adopt out your character?: Preferably neither. Have them wander if you can. It gives me a chance to return with the same characters.
In Character
[&]Full Name: Stonecarver, formerly known as NoName.
[&]Soul Name: Kolt
[&]Tribe: Wolfrider
[&]Age: Around 100, though he isn't entirely sure. (For OOC Records: 98)
[&]Gender: Male
[&]List Of Personality: Shy when it comes to his past, but very gentle and caring. He's the type who will let someone cry for hours about their troubles and listen the entire time. Selfless in that he would carry a wounded elf, even one he didn't like, to a healer with an arrow sticking out of his own hide and still insist the other be tended first. He is a very passive individual and prefers to be alone, yet at the same time, he hates being alone. He prefers to send, but when he does speak, his voice is soft, but a deep baritone. He speaks with those he is close to.
[&]Skills other than Sending?:
-Rock carving and shaping (using tools)
-Wind-Shaping (below average skill, though he has been gaining strength and control over time.)
-Rock-Climbing (excellent)
-His eyes are more accustomed to the dark tunnels than an average elf.
-Minor knowledge of tailoring/leather working to fix his own clothing
-Knowledge of disinfecting wounds and otherwise treating them. Not a healer, but he would do in a pinch.
[&]Likes/Dislikes: Dislikes: He doesn't like others to see his back. He doesn't like to discuss his time as a slave or the pity he feels when he talks about his past.
Likes: Music, cubs, stories, watching the sky.
Fears: Trolls - Secret fear. Thunder and Skyfire storms (particularly thunder). He doesn't know why he's afraid of storms, but something about the bright flashes and the sound of thunder.
[&]Family: None living that he's aware of. He can't remember names of members of his old tribe.
[&]History: Most of his past tribe and family is a mystery to him. While he remembers bits and pieces of a green place near a flowing river and a pack of wolves, he doesn't remember names and most of the faces have faded with time. He remembers his father was important to the tribe, but he's not sure why.
When he was a young cub, about 10 turns old, his tribe was forced to leave their holt due to scarce game and another threat that the adults talked about when the cubs weren't near. It was while they were camping that they were attacked.
All he remembers are flashes and bits and pieces. He remembers seeing bodies with deep gashes laying about the camp as others were fighting off large, bulky shapes. He didn't know what they were at first, but as one hand grabbed him, he recognized it to belong to a troll. He had tried fighting back, trying to get away, but the next thing he remembers, he was laying on cold stone flooring with shackles on his ankles and wrists. They were tight enough even his small body couldn't get free, and there didn't appear to be any way to open the shackles. As he grew, new shackles of the same make replaced the old. At least, until he was broken and no longer tried to escape.
His new life began in those dark caves. He remembers, vaguely, defying his captors and refusing to work. He remembers more clearly the first stings of a whip against his bare back as his will was broken. Still, that crack of the whip always stirred his anger. He had tried many times to escape, and every time was dragged back, bound, and beaten until any thought of fleeing is gone. The last time he thought of fleeing was only a hand of full turns, maybe two after his capture. He had, by then, given up almost all thought of escaping his captivity.
He discovered his wind shaping ability while enslaved. Sitting in the small alcove that had become his 'room' over the years, he had picked up a clump of small pebbles and was tossing them, trying to hit a sleeping troll not overly far away. However, he kept falling short. Then a strange breeze came from nowhere and provided just enough boost to send the pebble a little farther. He's since honed it enough that he can guide pebbles a short distance when throwing them, but he hasn't found much use for his weak ability.
[&]Often seen wearing: Warm Clothing: Leather tunic, loose leather pants and mid-shin length boots.
Cold Clothing: Add fur lining and an undershirt.
[&]Body:
[&]Build/Height: Stinging 4' tall, he is average height, though his build is a bit lanky though his muscles are defined. His back is covered by raised pale scars, the physical reminder of spending the majority of his life as a slave to Ironskin's trolls. There is one that creeps over his right shoulder from a lash that landed high on his back and another that comes over his left hip that looks to have cut extremely deep. There are a few fainter ones on his chest from the days he had struggled to resist the lashings before he had given in.
[&]Hair: A dirty blond, short, unkept.
[&]Eyes: Pale Blue
[&]Picture: see avatar
[&]Bonded animal: Jasper - Bonded in New Green 113, now 16 years old. The wolf has reddish-brown fur and yellow-brown eyes. Greying around the muzzle and face and definitely slowing down. He has started to drift from the pack, staying close to Stonecarver's den. He has lost much of his rank within the pack, though is still mid range. Loves to play, though he doesn't really run much anymore, possibly due to developing arthritis.
Any other information: The scars and lashings are a source of shame for him. As a wolfrider, he knows that he should have fought to the death to escape, but fear held him back. Fear kept him "in line." He stole a runed blade from the trolls when he was rescued, however he won't wield it. Instead, he is wielding a bow as his weapon of choice. Since his time in captivity he has developed a close relationship with Tenderleaf which only has gotten stronger after their release. He shared his soul name with her and has accepted she chose Fletcher and Foxtrail to be her mates. Deerheart and Thorndust have been good friends over the years and he feels he can trust them.
You do not need my permission to move Stonecarver if needed.

Threads in Order:
The Captives - NoName and Tenderleaf's shared experiences in the troll tunnels during captivity. Despite Tenderleaf's poisons being used with intent to kill him, by Ironskin, he does not hold any grudges against her. He knows she had no choice but to make them. He secretly carves a fish, in reference to one of the first memories she shared with him when they met.
Troll War: Old Grudges - The Elves attack the trolls and free the captive slaves. NoName tries not to show his illness, but it is painfully obvious to the others. Still, he refuses to be carried out of the tunnels.
The Beginning in the End - The burning of the dead at the Pyre. NoName isn't familiar with Go-Back traditions nor even Wolfrider traditions. He slips away to tend his own wounds while others mourn.
Cleansing Waters - NoName is found in the hot spring near the Lodge tending his wounds. He lets Tenderleaf see his back in order to help tend the wounds. He offers her comfort in her mourning. He withdraws into himself, believing Tenderleaf both pities him and thinks him weak.
Passing the Lock - WolfDancer passes the Chief's lock to Mistblossom and Badger. Surprising even himself, NoName makes a vocal outburst in support of the former-Chief's decision before fleeing with his own embarrassment.
The Grand Tour - Badger offers NoName and Tenderleaf a tour of the holt. Despite the attempts to include them both, NoName withdraws further into himself.
Painting a Picture - Noname crashes a party at Dreamcat's den by arriving with dreamberries. Unaware of what they are as this was the first time he'd had them, he drunkenly passes out.
Nobody Expects the Elvish Inquisition - NoName, Tenderleaf, Deershy, and Alder engage in friendly discussion until Alder, unintentionally, sets NoName off into another rage where NoName sends images of what he went through in captivity. He attempts to flee, but Tenderleaf doesn't let him. He learns that Tenderleaf feels strongly for him.
Making Peace - Tenderleaf comes to see NoName after the argument at the river earlier.
New Friends - NoName is gifted with cooked meat made by Deershy after she discovers the reason he didn't want raw meat was because he wasn't used to it. He watches Tenderleaf and Shadow dance together before he slips away, feeling as though he is in the way.
A Friend of My Friend - Hawk and Badger pay a visit to NoName at the river. It is settled there is no ruffled fur between Hawk and NoName.
What's in a Name - Noname seeks out Deershy to answer questions about what a soul name truly is.
Tripping Snares - In an attempt to teach himself to use a bow and arrow, Noname finds himself caught in a snare in the hunting grounds only to be found by Thorndust who offers to teach him to shoot. She leads him back to her den to tend a cut he received and leads to his first tumble in the furs. He wakes with a violent nightmare and confides in Thorndust his feelings and fears regarding Tenderleaf.
Thunder Rolls - As a violent thunderstorm crashes over the holt, Noname seeks shelter with Deershy as he deals with a fear he did not realize he had. As the storms continue over the next several days, after the flash flood that claimed Softfur's and Starfall's lives which sends him to Tenderleaf's den.
Flash Flood - In a pleasant break from the thunderstorms that have blanketed the holt and surrounding area in pounding rain, Softfur and Starfall attempt to fish when the water-weakened bank causes a slip and fall into the river that ultimately leads to a harsh reminder of how frail life is.
Our Eyes Like The Wolves' - Noname goes on his first hunt with the tribe. He feels he caused the hunt to go poorly and refused to partake of the kill, believing the kill wasn't as clean as it should be.
Thunder Shock - Another thunder storm sends Noname to Tenderleaf's den where they discuss their magical abilities before falling asleep.
A Moment to Bond - New Green brings new life lto the holt as Lightning bares her pups. Noname and Tenderleaf bond to two of the pups while the third is slain by Fang.
Child Moon - Mistblossom and Badger's cub is born and presented to the tribe. Noname presents a mobile with carved stones meant to share a pleasant memory of his own with the cub. He reveals for the first time his windshaping ability.
New Blood - New tribesmates arrive from Ember's tribe. First impressions aren't Noname's thing so he hangs out in Tenderleaf's den which he later learns was a mistake and causes a rift between himself and Tenderleaf.
Your Den is My Den - After the new arrivals arrive, Bane is directed to Tenderleaf's den where he discovers Noname. Noname, uncomfortable in the sudden, new situation, fouls up the first impression and ends up storming off to his own den.
Things Need to Change - After leaving Tenderleaf's den following the argument with Bane, Tenderleaf comes to speak with Noname and confess her dissatisfaction with how he's been behaving.
Beautiful Berries - NoName gets his first glimpse at Skyring and offers directions to a few berry patches, though it seems the boy has no interest in them, nor conversation.
Stirring the Pot - After the argument with Bane and then Tenderleaf following the new arrivals, Alder comes to speak with Noname.
Hello Darkness My Old Friend - After a series of unfortunate encounters with newcomers and Tenderleaf, Noname decides he needs to do what he was told to... Face his fears. Leaving the tribe he starts towards what he believes to be the source of his fears. The Troll Caves.
The Sound of Silence - Deershy has been following Noname on his quest, trying to bring him back, and unbeknownst to both, a search party from the holt is on their way as well. Ultimately, Deershy convinces Noname he wasn't afraid of the Troll Caves, but rather something else. He makes the decision to return but before he can begin the journey back, the others catch up.
A Plan for Forgiveness - Noname spends the first few days after returning in silence. He knew he had wronged the tribe and he comes up with a plan to show his gratitude for all they have done for him. Interrupted by a request to meet with the Chiefs, he becomes Stonecarver.
Unity - Stonecarver 'unveils' his gift to the tribe. His largest stone carving to date, it is on a large boulder and shows a pack of wolves in a forest standing before what appears to be the Father Tree. He is 'caught' by Dreamcat and follows her to her den to learn more about her and her painting stone.
Tracking the Fox - Stonecarver attempts to make amends with Foxtrail, only to have the carving he had made tossed in the river and made to carve onions as punishment. Refusing to complete the task, Stonecarver leaves Foxtrail, their issues unresolved.
The Path of Change - Stonecarver is working his way through the members of the tribe, trying to help in any way he can. He hopes to learn some new skills along the way and perhaps find his place in the tribe.
Water in the Woods - Stonecarver gets his first swimming lesson from Brea with Sweetpetal.
Avoiding a Very Cold Winter - Stonecarver is making his way to practice shooting when he receives an open send from Blaze that there is trouble. When he arrives, Bane is laying motionless on the ground and a bear is attacking. He arrived around the same time as others, but when Tenderleaf is threatened, Stonecarver uses his wind-shaping to blow the scent of Mistblossom's stinkweed into the area, to send the bear away. When Bane snaps at him for offering to replace his bow with his own, Stonecarver retreats to his den. This solidifies his decision to leave for the Cove.
Sand and Stone - Stonecarver is sitting on the beach when Brook, her pip Fairstar, and Sandskimmer approach. Jasper joins to help bridge the gap between fear and understanding as the young Fairstar plays with the wolf.
The Sea's Betrayal - The Wolfriders arrive in the cove to help their distressed Wavedancer cousins. Right away, the tribe sets about helping in any way they can.
The Discovery - Stonecarver joins in a hunting party of Wolfriders, looking for a new source of meat for the Wavedancers when they stumble upon a herd of sea lions. They do not know how to attack these beasts, yet, so they retreat and return to the cove for more information and to notify the Wavedancers of the discovery.
The Plan - The Wavedancers hold council over what to do about the Maraeva in the cove. While he knows his vote doesn't count, Stonecarver tries to offer a suggestion of communication before attacking the beast, to see if it will leave willingly. The vote for killing the beast instead passes.
Caged in Coral - The Wavedancers are moving forward with their plan to attack and kill the Maraeva while Stonecarver sits on the sidelines, very unhappy with the outcome.
