[&]History: From a young age, Longhowl has known that one day he would grow up to take the chief's lock from his father, and he has done his best - in his own way - to learn as many things as he could to better understand how to lead. Always trying again when he failed, with much the same calm, quiet determination as his mother. When his younger brother, Wildwind, was born, suddenly he had someone looking up to him the way he looked up to his parents, and his infinite patience with learning new skills became very useful.
Like two sides of a coin, Longhowl found quick affection for his little brother, doing everything he could to help him learn new things, too. His patience comes in handy as Wildwind is much rowdier and has more of a temper, but the younger lad seems to gravitate to Longhowl's perpetual sense of calm, and even when he manages to slip free and hide, Longhowl always seems to know how to find him and calm him down.
As he's gotten older and begun to understand what taking over will mean, Longhowl questions if that's actually what he wants. The stories and Lore that his mother has collected has an undeniable draw to him, but he can't do that if he's leading a tribe. For now, the fear that his father will be disappointed in him is enough to keep him quiet, always the dutiful son. He does feel like his father spends so much time being chief that he forgets to spend time with his sons, and he hopes maybe he can change that soon.
[&]Often seen wearing: Colors in blues and browns/orange to blend in with the terrain and sky. A sky blue sleeveless tunic with a vest in a sandy brown over top of it, a comfortable pair of loose pants in a darker brown that he can ride, hunt, and track in. Soft ankle boots in a burnt orange, and a scarf in the same orange that hangs around his neck when he's not using it to cover his head from the sun.
[&]Body: He has his left ear pierced and wears a dangling earring with a gem that matches his eyes hanging from it.
[&]Height/Build: 3'9", a little tall for his age. Lanky teenage build, hasn't quite come into his muscle yet.
[&]Hair: Straight black, thick. His bangs get into his eyes a little but most of his hair is back behind his shoulders. He has a braid that falls over his right shoulder with a gold bead adorning it - an echo of his sire’s chief lock. He’s hoping to earn a feather from his mother soon.
[&]Eyes: Bright blue, slowly shifting from childlike wide and round to a more almond shape.
