[&]Family: Sonia (mother); Wolfdancer (father); Serj (grandpa)
[&]History:
When he was young fawn, Griff was proud and often bossy, sensing and playing on his special status as son of the chieftess and heir of the braids, a fate, both his parents made plain to him from an early age. As he grew, he learned that his status came with certain duties and expectations, which he didn't quite like. Especially the strict drill his mother set great store on eventually changed his mind on his ambitions. He thought the warrior training mindless and meditation boring, and skipped lessons more than once. Eventually, he stirred his mother's wrath, which he attempted to face, but fell against miserably.
To give both, mother and son a rest, his father took him along on scouting trips, also trying to give his son an understanding of his Wolfrider heritage. While Griff greatly enjoyed the exploring, he really showed little talent at dealing with wolves and quickly lost interest in them. He was more interested in the stories, his father told him along the way.
Generally sociable and always curious, he started to watch other tribe members at their work and pester them with questions. Feeling disaffected about his imposed fate, he resolved to play along as far as he has to, but focus on finding something he feels more in tune with. That in mind, he searches vigorously for answers in people and places.
