History: Though Ailani was the first of the twins to be born, she was immediately less energetic and bold than her sister. She had a cautious nature to her, even as a pip and she spent much of her time watching silently and learning rather than throwing herself into situations. Kale was expected to take over the Crown from Mahina, and so Ailani and Rihalee were given the chance to become their own women without much interference or training from their parents. While this suited Ailani fine, she wished that she'd gotten more attention from her mother, who was constantly busy with the Pod and with training Kale.

While she did not hold the extreme curiosity that her sister did, she was still interested in the world and learning what she could from observing it, so often she would go out with Rhialee on adventures to explore the ocean around their cove. It was during one of these adventures that the largest battle with the Landers happened, and the twins were not there when their parents and brother were slaughtered. Ailani still blames herself for not being there, and believes that if they had been there, things would have gone differently.

The twins quickly put away their childish ways and took charge of the Pod in a time when the group needed not one, but two leaders. It was never questioned that the twins should lead together, as they did so naturally as though they were two parts of a whole. With Rhialee's charisma and Ailani's organizational skills, they managed to round up the scattered Pod and find a new living location, away from the Landers and other threats. They still live in constant remembrance of what they had lost to the Landers.

A blue tube top with a bone and coral chest plate. Small blue and teal shorts. Bone and shell arm bracers. A headpiece denoting her crown/co-chieftesship with her sister.She has slightly modified ears and her hands and feet are webbed. I haven't yet decided on what other fins she might have. Ailani has a smattering of freckles across her cheeks and shoulders down her back in a triangle pattern, though they are not obvious.
Hair: Dark indigo-black hair (longer than in the picture, just past her tailbone) that is wavy.
Eyes: Light blue/teal eyes with dark lashes.
