[&]History: Being the daughter of a fiery fighter and a peaceful treeshaper, Blaze has always been caught in between. Her mother taught her at an early age how to use a bow, and had, shortly before her own dead, been tutoring Blaze in the art of making bows. She took to it quickly, but had a hard time connecting with her mother outside of their teaching sessions. They were too different; Blaze’s personality resembling her father’s and brother’s more. She still loved Sparkchaser, though, and grieved with the rest of the tribe and her family when she was killed by the humans. But she learned a lesson from her death, and knowing that her mother had been too rash in her actions, Blaze became far more careful and started sending instead of speaking to make as little noise as possible when walking around. An eight of seasons after Sparkchaser’s death, Blaze started discovering that she had inherited her father’s gift of treeshaping, but he did not teach her for very long before he decided to leave the tribe. The memories of his dead lifemate that followed him when he was with the Wolfriders had been too overwhelming, and he left with Brighteye, who at that time was still just a cub. Since then Blaze has been living contently with the Wolfriders, but has quietly been dreaming of seeing her father and brother again someday.

Blaze usually helps Dreamcat and Mistblossom, working in the gardens. The redhead encouraged her to confess her love to the elder Redmane. The two lovers shared soulnames. During Mindlurker´s attack, she fell unconscious and slept in a cocoon for a few moons, but has recently awoken. She left the holt with Redmane to wander the plains, Blaze harboring a hope of finding her father and brother. She has since returned to the wolfriders but it is clear that she has been changed from her experiences. She did not find her family and lost Redmane along the way and she has grown more fierce and determined, but also a little frenzied and suffers from bouts of insomnia. She has grown to resemble her mother more but her father's positive influence is still there.


[&]Often seen wearing: She dresses in a tightfitting shirt and pants (for making as little sound as possible when she walks) in red and brown colors, and an equally rust colored hood. The clothes are made of both skin and leather. For shooting one will often see her wearing deerskin shooting gloves, a chest guard and an armguard.

[&]Bonded animal: Blaze was the proud friend and rider of the wolf Thunderlane. With his dark gray fur, golden and large bone structure, he was a beautiful, and perhaps a little terrifying, creature. Before he formed a friendship with Blaze, he was Sparkchaser’s bond animal, and he willingly let Blaze inherit him after his “owner’s” death. The two of them got along very well, and Thunder’s spirited, yet cautious personality matched his owner’s perfectly. Thunderlane grew old and died during Blaze's long absence, which totally shattered her.

Any other information: Blaze has returned to the Holt after a long stretch of time an needs a while to adjust to having others around her again.

Dreamcat: Likes Dreamcat a lot and considers her a friend but they haven’t really talked since Blaze’s return to the tribe which makes her sad.
Firebird: Intrigued by Firebird’s free spirit and carefree smiles and would like to get to know her better (and also see fireshaping!).

Foxtrail: Has only met him briefly but has mixed feeling about him. On one hand he seems fun and easy-going but she doesn’t quite know how to behave around him.
Hawk: One of Blaze’s oldest and best friends. Hawk is kind and loyal and empathetic and Blaze always feel serene and cherished when around him. After she lost Redmane on the plains Hawk was the first one she reached out to and he was there to comfort her without asking anything of her, unconditionally devoted and steadfast as he is.

Mistblossom: Looks up to her but they aren’t close. Blaze would like to approach her about learning treeshaping from her.
Shadestep: Just met Shadestep but he seems nice and relaxed and Blaze likes being around him.
Shadow: Blaze considers Shadow to be one of her closest friends. She is sweet, patient and tender-hearted, but also sharp-witted and gives great advice. Blaze is constantly comforted by Shadow’s quiet strength.
Shinepelt: Blaze’s lovemate and soulmate whom she adores. Their relationship is still new and a bit stumbling but it’s based on a solid foundation of love and trust and Blaze is excited to see where they will go from there now that they have exchanged soulnames and opened up about their pasts.

Sweetpetal: Seems easily ruffled, but very sweet. Blaze doesn’t know her that well.
Tenderleaf: Would like to know better as Tenderleaf seems like someone Blaze would enjoy being around.
Thorndust: An old friend that Blaze cares about deeply though they haven’t spoken for a while. Thorndust’s cheery attitudes and free smiles always manage to soothe Blaze when she is feeling anxious.
