[&]Personality: Often appears cheerful, bubbly and rather happy. Does not show much of negative emotions, but he has them most certainly. Aethyr prefers to cover his sorrows and emotional baggage with substitutional actions like working or talking. Aethyr is very talkative and nosy up until to be most likely somewhat pesky on his tribesmates, depending on the tribemate. If something is bothering him, the talkativeness will increase. The young male (at the moment, the youngest of the pod) can also be somewhat naïve and gullible, although he does his best to appear mature and capable -- especially at work.

Aethyr misses himself an agemate or a kindred spirit. At his point of life, he only has podmates who consider him as an adolescent and something to coddle and baby about. He is keen to learn and expand his knowledge and understanding.

Once the time has passed and he is no longer the baby of the tribe, he has found himself rather a person, who enjoys the sweet things that adult life can offer. He can be very naughty and has a lot of empathy toward those who feel alone or lost.

[&]History: Aethyr was one of the children that came to be outside of the Recognition. Usually, the births for the Wavedancer females are easy, but with Altica something went wrong and Aethyr's mother lost too much blood. Despite being in a birthing nest and in the hands of a capable healer, Altica was lost. Altica had been frail from the start, so the pregnancy had been a (nice) surprise, as well as she being capable of carrying Aethyr fully.

Aethyr's father Ink-Skin was left with a baby, so he did his best to bring up the boy with the help of the pod. He mourned his friend Altica for his time, then got on with life, as Aethyr was proving to be a handful at young age.

Time passed and Aethyr grew. Times were stormy on occasion, but Ink-Skin managed to keep his son safe. Aethyr asked a lot of questions of his mother, so Ink-Skin provided as much as he could. Panaetha proved helpful many times, seeing she had been Altica's sister -- Aethyr formed a strong bond with Panaetha and her mate Candeo.

Aethyr lost his father around the same time, when the pod left the last cove. It was not certain if Ink-Skin had gone missing, or if he was dead or if he just fled... Aethyr was left alone, so he was taken under Candeo's wing.

Settling to the new home was somewhat easy for the young adult, growing up has not been. Aethyr still has some childish ways, but he is eager to remind others he is not a pip anymore. He has done his best to provide proper attires to his podmates and to attend to getting the leather for the said attires. He is doing his best to take responsibility.

The loss of his mentor Ripple left him big boots to fill, and he has taken a lot of steps to fill in the gap the tribe needed. Aethyr was happy to find his place in the tribe, but during summer 118 AS, a lost his right arm in a shark attack -- it left the tailor in a dark place for a good while, where Murre dragged him away from. Since then, he has adjusted -- the tinkerers of the tribe have provided him with a set of artificial arms, he uses whenever necessary. The loss of arm has changed his tailoring a little bit slower, and the beadworks are no longer a possibility for him.

[&]Often seen wearing: Golden yellow loincloth and loose top, that often slides off from either shoulder. When having tail, the tail might have some adornments on it.
[&]Body:  Dark grey skin. Tail is orange and black with koi-like patterns and scales. Fins are frilly, mimicking the colour of his hair. His hands, feet, legs, arms or ears are not webbed and do not have fins.
[&]Build/height: His facial features are pretty soft and feminine, not including his teeth, as they are slightly sharper than average, nothing too noticeable, though. He has a round face and cute nose, as well as rather full and plump lips. Same kind of goes with his body; Aethyr is all around soft and feminine looking, so someone who would not know him might mistake him as a girl. He does not mind that. He is pretty short with his legs, the tail is a bit longer, when he has it.

Aethyr has grown into a rather handsome young elf, less round, childish and feminine. He has a slender swimmer's body build, but sadly he has not grown any taller. 
[&]Hair: Hair is white with very light foamy yellow highlights and undertones. Hair is smooth, silky and long, often kept on a high ponytail.
[&]Eyes: Aethyr’s eyes are large, almond-shaped, slightly narrow and of a light venomous green colour.
