He likes to provoke people to simply see how they would react. He believes others often hide their true selves, and when over emotional, they show who they really are. Though he can be somewhat of a jerk, he doesn't have any real ill feelings for most of the tribe. It is simply the way to expresses himself.

[&]History: Being the second born of Elion and Repari his sister highly. Though, their age difference wasn't much, it seemed like Kata was always so mature and balanced compared the wild personality of Malaki. It was assumed he took after his father more. At a young age, he found himself interested in working with his hands. It distracted from others, which helped considering he had a bad habit of being something of a bully. When Malaki was 17, his mother, Repari was found dead. It had seemed she had gone out to gather when a venomous snake struck her. It's poison acting too quickly to put her into a feverish state and kill her soon after. She hadn't the strength to send for help or the time.

The death of his mother made Malaki distant. He didn't want comforting and he fought often with his sisters. Their arguments often turned into tumbles and fists. Though.. Kata wasn't the only one Malaki took his frustration out on. Sometimes it was other tribesmates like Bihon, simply because he was annoying or trying to take his hat. Or even his father. Repari didn't bother to stop any of the fights either, especially when it was between Malaki and Kata. He believed this was their way of dealing with it. Plus it wouldn't hurt to toughen either of them up. He always believed Elion was a tad too gentle. During this time, Malaki worked harder than ever on his small tasks of making saddels and reigns for the ponies as well helping create weapons. Trying to distract himself from the sorrow, but it didn't always work. He became frustrated when he wouldn't do something right, or the thing he worked on would break, this frustration lead to his magic. At first, he was afraid of magic. Neither parents had it and magic in the tribe was growing, but was still small and slow and rarely something as physical as metal shaping. Malaki struggled to bring himself to use this magic and train it, and certainly not willing to ask for aid.

Also, in this time, he felt bitter that their mother left. Though it wasn't her fault that she was bit, Malaki's mind began to form excuses to be angry with her, how to make her fault. Like not taking anyone with her. That was when Kata offered a suggestion to make use of the snake that bit their mother. At first, Malaki thought it was ridiculous and he yelled at Kata for coming up with such a dumb suggestion.. But after a couple days of thought.. Malaki began to secretly go out and catch snakes, testing their venom on rodents and soon using it on small darts that he'd blow out of a chute. This was the beginning of a mending between the siblings.

Repari died just last season. He was on a hunting trip and took a fall. It doesn't sound that bad, but being there to see it, you would say different. The fall broke many bones in many places. Repari refused to allow his tribemate's to waste their time on him, they were too far from camp to get the healer. He could hardly give voice to tell his partners to tell his children he was happy to be joining his first beloved.

Now Malaki.. still abrasive and somewhat of a bully, was constantly busy, working on his magic to better help the tribes travel. Making their carts and tents a bit more functional. As well as researching snakes, venom, and the effects they have on different body sizes. It was enough to keep him busy so he wasn't too often arguing and fighting with others.


[&]Often seen wearing: A dark orange colored vest with a hood and no sleeves. Long, loose shorts and a belt holding many tools and items to help him when he needs it. Gray colored hat with a brim.
[&]Body: Medium brown color. Noticeable features is his left ear was sliced open during a fight and ne never bothered to get it healed. He has a couple of other scars also... simply because he refused to ask for aid.
[&]Height/Build: 4'1" Malaki is thin but not quite lanky. His muscle are pretty toned, mostly from wrestling around with other tribe mates and his sister.
[&]Hair: A dark mahogany color. Messy/shaggy, wavy and short.
[&]Eyes: Dark dark Greenish eyes.
