History: Her birth tribe founded by mixed couples of Wolfriders and Sunfolk, which decided to part from the Palace to make a new home to live together with their children. Growing up in that peaceful environment, Dreamcat early discoverd her soil-shaping ability. Taking lessons by both her parents she developed and used her magic to craft things like jars and pots or sculptures from clay and easing the soil around plants for better growing. She often told stories and captured memories and dreams in her pictures and animates the painted signs by shaping the soils she used to make her paint.
Being raised as a child of two cultures made her open minded and look at things from various points of view. Though she did not always benefit from her inter-cultural background. She sometimes found herself torn apart between the rough Way of the mortals and the immortal´s philosophy of static softness and security.
Although the wolf-blood is strong in her, she never managed bond with any wolf, nor learned their speech. Still yearning for a companion, she made friends with a smaller tuft-cat called Fuyu.
When she reached adulthood, however, she heard the cry of the wilderness calling her. Just like her mother Ebony, who had left the family after raising her two daughters, she left home as well and traveled the land, but soon found herself attacked by a bear and barely managed to escape. Since then, she thought herself too weak for adventures and rather stayed secure at Cutter´s holt when she arrived there, where she spent a full turn of seasons. She joined the party when Cutter headed off in the palace to meet Ember´s tribe. Just after their arrival, she was picked by the young chief Wolfdancer to join his new tibe.

Though she made many friends in the tribe and always looks out for more, the leave of some tribe-members were hard on her and she often feelt lonely. A long-term quarrel with her former best friend Hawk just made things worse. She often retreated to the gardens she planted with the tree-shapers, or worked on her project she calls "Wall of Memories", a smooth rock at the Gathering place she paints with symbols to memorize and re-tell special events. Though her artistic skills had earned her admirers among both, Wolfriders and Go-Backs, she yet has to find the one for her.
When the Wavedancers arrived at the holt, she tagged along to the cove to help them out and learn new things and stories.
