[&]History: Thorndust has always been a bit of a wild child, much to the dismay of her parents. Windsong and Wildfire were both very serious hunters and warriors, and wanted Thorndust to be the same way. She wouldn't have it though, preferring to spend her days fishing and climbing trees. Her skill in hunting and fighting comes purely from chasing friends, fish, and small game. Hide and seek has made her very stealthy, but she has a hard time focusing on serious tasks and is easily distracted.

When Wolfdancer decided to create another splinter tribe, Thorndust went with him. Her parents still live with Ember's tribe. Despite pulling her own weight with Ember's tribe, Thorndust was never able to prove herself in the eyes of her parents. She hopes that being valuable in the tribe will help others take her more seriously, but she doesn't know how to be as serious as others want her to be. Life in Oakleaf is very simple for her: she naps, she plays with her friends, and she fishes.

In the early days of AS 127, Thorndust and Shadow returned to Ember's tribe after they were driven out by humans; Shadow wanted to check on her family, and Thorndust's father died in the battle and left her mother behind, and with cub. After about a turn, Thorndust headed back, feeling the new holt was settled, all loved ones taken care of adequately, and a promise from the tribe to update Oakleaf via preserver.

[&]Often seen wearing: Pale purple and tan leathers. She shows a lot of skin, feeling that leathers are restrictive. Her stature is smaller than most at a waif-like 3'8".

Previous: Blackmoon was Thorndust's polar opposite. He was a loner and liked it that way, serious and protective of Thorndust. He brought out her calm. If you can't find Thorndust in a tree or river, you can find her sleeping with Blackmoon. He was black with a silver undercoat, with gold eyes. Blackmoon died peacefully, falling asleep in a quiet patch of sunlight in AS 125.
