History: Brea is the daughter of Fereng's closest friends (deceased several hundred years ago). She is one of the only people Fereng has opened up to: not only does Fereng consider her almost family, but when Brea was born, she "knew" Brea's soul name the moment she saw her. Brea has always known Fereng's soul name - presumably "knowing" since the moment Fereng heard hers. They are soul-sisters, and nearly inseparable, sometimes lovemates.

Often seen wearing: She has pale skin, with fins on the sides of both her legs and arms: her leg fins start just above her ankles and curve up to just below her knees. Her arm fins are much the same, starting just behind her wrists and ending just before her elbows. The fins are all on the outward-facing side of her legs and arms, and made of semi-transparent light blue skin stretched over several small ridges of hard cartilage, which can be folded back to collapse her fins against her body. However, at most times she has her fins out and rigid, helping her to swim faster and as a small self-defense against predators. Her hands and feet are webbed with the same semi-transparent light blue skin as her fins, with her ears ridged with three inward-curves. Her fins were shaped by a healer.

She wears a cropped top of soft light-brown leather, the neckline coming up to just under her chin. The top half of her top is dyed a pale tan (nearly white), the design coming from her armpits and down in a "V". Three "saw-tooth" teeth adorn the front, one at the tip of the "V", and two along the sides. Her long sleeves come down to her wrists, with slits for her fins. The same "V" design is on her shoulders. Her pants are made of the same soft light-brown leather as her shirt, and come down to her her ankles, with the same slit for her leg-fins. Her belt is made of "saw-tooth" teeth. Her clothes are lined with soft "whitebear" (polar bear) fur. She also wears a hooded poncho of mottled grey seal fur when swimming to the deeper depths of the ocean, and during the colder months. She wears a small "clamshell flute" on a cord around her neck.

Any other information: The Wavedancer group Fereng and Brea are from have very pale coloring, and tend to dress more simply/monochrome (using natural colors, and few dyes). They developed these traits as a defense in the north, needing to blend in better with the snow and ice.
