History: Rush is the son of Shell and Lotan; he’s also the adopted son of Brea. He’s the younger brother of Shimmer; the two children are practically twins. They’ve had one another all of their lives and love one another very much though their personalities are vastly different. Rush was gifted his name due to his birth. Shimmer, having been conceived first, also came into the world first. Not to be left behind by his sibling, Rush insisted upon being born only a hand of days or so afterward though he wasn't due for a good month or more yet. Despite the efforts of his parents and Sunset to reason with him, the pip rushed his own birthing and thus recieved the apt moniker, "Rush"

Shimmer is the quieter, shyer sibling and tends to favor her biological parents in temperament and demeanor, while Rush tends to be much more active and temperamental. He is quick to anger but just as quick to let things go. His attention is constantly being drawn to new, shiny things to explore. While his sister prefers quiet contemplation of something until she figures out how it works, Rush wants to see and do EVERYTHING as quickly as he can!

Not at all shy, Rush is very much a people person and loves to engage in conversation with anyone and everyone he meets. He has his mother’s penchance for socialization and her charisma as well. Though he can be careless at times, he is not thoughtless and loves to bring back little ‘presents’ from his adventures to present his family. He’s begun to learn the art of telling tall tales from his uncle Oahni and the finer points of high diving from his uncle Murre - both of whom he looks up to a great deal.

Clothes: Tends to wear a cropped top and a pair of shorts that tie at either side of the hip. He’s learning to wield a bone blade and is usually brandishing it at seaweed or menacing waves as he practices.

Height/Build: A tad taller than normal for his age, he’s spindly and has big feet and hands, which denote he still has a lot of growing to do.
