Hey all!
Thought I'd add a reminder of subjects that need to be cut into minimum. Let's just say, that some things make discussions too heated, and some might be secretly triggering and cause distress to others.
Before anyone starts trolling about the freedom of speech, I might also add, that this is mostly a roleplay forum for people to have fun and care-free time without worrying about things. There are activist forums and blogs for other subjects, and there you are free to discuss the subjects listed here. With freedom of speech, there is also taking the responsibility of the said speech.
Generally, I am politely asking people to avoid the subjects in the first list and possibly take a serious considering before mentioning anything that might trigger other people's distress and anxiety.
Also, if someone has a triggering or avoidable subject in mind, please feel free to PM me them or drop a line here.
Avoid these:
Triggering things:
The key saying here is: "If you can't talk about it over dinner, do not talk about it here."
Thank you for understanding.

Avoid these:
- Money/Economics
- Religion
- Politics
Triggering things:
- Abuse
- Rape/misogyny/misandry/sexism
- Heavy and number-specific discussion about diets and weight loss
There are people with eating disorders on this forum, so it would be smart to keep weight-related discussions at bay. In some cases, there might also be Body Dysmorphic Disorder around. Keep in mind we come in all shapes and sizes. - Heavy and specific discussion about mental disorders
- Racial slurs and hate speech/discrimination of any kind
This applies to every idealistic group, age group, other group, sexual group. - Self harming / suicidal ideas
On a sidenote: If someone is facing suicidal ideas or thoughts of self harming, do NOT stay alone with those thoughts! Seek out a friend, relative, doctor or therapist to talk with.
