Lightshaping (Good but still learning more): Dawnbringer can produce illusory lights. Generally in the form of light displays such as will-of-the-wisps. She can also collect light into a single area for a flashlight type effect, or a burst of light that can temporarily blind. But what she can do can be very useful for distracting attention, while she sneaks off another way. (Essentially, she and her twin split up parts of a wide illusion-casting magic set, with Dusksinger masking things and Dawnbringer projecting them).

Born in the Wandering Steppes clan, to a wolfrider mother (Shadowmoon) and an immortal father (Huntleader Shion). She reveled in her wolf-blood more than her twin, not hiding it like her sister who gravitated toward the immortal elves of their home. More adventurous than her twin sister, Dawnbringer was usually the first of them to climb a giant tree, dive off a cliff, chase after new prey, with Dusksinger observing and making more measured attempts to follow. When Shion was exiled (see Dusksinger’s revised history), Dawnbringer chose to follow him, in what was to be just the first of a number of migrations of groups of elves away from her homeland. Though through their separation, the twins found their spiritual connection never waned, and allowed them a level of communication across uncountable footsteps of distance.
Within her father’s offshoot tribe, Dawnbringer found the sort of true love and commitment that evaded Dusksinger in Wandering Steppes. The young but immortal elf, Vadierah, shared with her a distaste for the static place the Steppes were becoming, and a belief that it was that very death of change and creativity within the hearts of the Elders that had brought about the spreading Madness in the first place. They were determined to live their live to the fullest, which in short order came to mean living as much of it as they could with each other. More and more, Vadierah favored the Way and learning to live as a Wolfrider. The opposite path to Dusksinger’s.
Another sister, Eveningveil, had been born by the time Dawnbringer was reunited with Dusksinger, who had lingered in the Wandering Steppes trying to help those affected by the Madness, and learning from those it had yet to claim. It was during this period that both sisters discovered they were gifted of magical powers. In Dawnbringer’s case, the ability to create visual and auditory illusions. She was delighted to see her sister experiment freely and playfully with her own cloaking abilities.
This togetherness did not last, as Dusksinger’s wandering nature led her to explore the world. The twins again remained wordlessly connected through a wordless ‘tug’ at their souls. Until the day when Vadierah fell during a hunt. Shattered heart and soul, Dawnbringer started walking, following that one remaining thing that made sense to her; the ‘tug’ toward Dusksinger. Dusksinger, who was herself reeling from the death of her own mate. The pair reunited while Dusksinger was on the way to Badger and Mistblossom’s holt, where the twins stayed briefly, and quietly, while they recovered from their separate losses.
when it came time for Dusksinger to take up the cause of seeing Tusk, Dawnbringer came with. The pair of them came into new wolf-bonds in their travels, a lark of timing. Upon a tense reunion with the nomadic tribe, Dawnbringer kept a polite distance as Dusksinger and Tusk worked out their situation. But soon went on to become an active and energetic member of the tribe herself.

Dawnbringer’s usual outfit is a deep rose leather vest like top that laces in front and ends at her hips. She wears dark brown knee length leather pants and dark brown ankle boots. When dancing she likes to use her Preserver silk fringed shawl in deep pink. Dawnbringer’s festival outfit is a warm brown bodysuit with a high neck and warm-pink shoulders with golden yellow sleeves. The same color of golden-yellow is used to form a lining under the bust, and a textured pattern above. Boots that match the lining. A flowing gown of warm-pink fabric or silk falls from the bust.
[&]Hair: Deep black that shimmers amethyst and indigo (winnowill hair). Worn long, it reaching to her glutes, but usually she has much of it pulled up into a high bun. The bun is set with a wide, pearl-adorned comb, which itself is also decorated with a pink five-petaled flower or some other bauble that catches Dawnbringer’s eyes. Long bangs, swept mostly to one side.

[&]Bodyshape: Taller than most wolfriders, she's built with feminine curves but trim from traveling
[&]Other Traits: As the more adventurous and openly wolfish twin, Dawnbringer’s body is marked with numerous scars that she never saw a reason to have healed away. These marks make the twins quite easy to tell apart when naked. (Also Dawnbringer’s eyes are slightly greener)

Age: 15, medium-ranked
Description: Male. Dark amber eyes. Charcoal grey coat that lightens to a smokey grey at the muzzle, cheeks, chest, underside, and bottom of tail. Legs are very light silvery grey. Very playful, sometimes destructibility so.
History: The last surviving pup of Greyruff, a wolf who was driven out of her pack by its Alpha Female upon getting pregnant. Both were encountered by the twins on their way to new home in the Plains. Dusksinger bonded with Greyruff, though Dawnsinger was not ready yet to do so with Stormcloud, who nevertheless followed his mother on this new path. He decided Dawnbringer is his playmate, even if she took time to reciprocate. When Greyruff earned a place in the pack, so did her pup.
