History:
Born during the dryseason in Sorrow's End years before the Wolfriders which resided in the Sun Village were freed from wrapstuff, Warmsand was daughter to the Wolfrider Sandbramble and his Jackwolf rider mate, Visole. With a Wolfrider's soulname, the young elf took after her Sun Folk mother in appearance; black hair and caramel skin with elegant features but with a wild fire in her pale blue eyes. The calm and timid life in Sorrow's End was one she enjoyed throughout her childhood, but it was the jackwolves which made her truly feel at home.

Being told the stories of Cutter and his Wolfriders by those who raised her, Warmsand was eager to meet them and also real wolves, hoping that one day she would bond with one. She would often be found daydreaming away about future possibilities while tending to the crops or the zwoots. Her passion laid in spending hours on the roof of her family's hut to watch the sky, satisfying her nocturnal needs as she would memorize the star patterns. It was because of her love for the sky that her cub name Warmsand was changed into Nightsky.
During these years, Nightsky lost her mother to a still unknown cause. It was speculated it was due to poison from a weed's barb but with no skilled healer it was never discovered.

When the palace returned from its disappearance in time, new opportunities presented themselves for Nightsky and her family as they gradually came in contact with the Wolfriders throughout their visits and aid during troublesome times. It was from those moments that Nightsky learned more about her Wolfrider heritage and it made her long to become a true part of it.

Eventually when the Sun village was deserted due to the arrival of humans, Nightsky and her parents took refuge inside the palace until it took them to the other continent where Ember's pack resided. Knowing the palace was no place for those with wolf blood, they took the decision to remain under Ember's leadership and aided with the cleansing of what ever mutations were present in the lands.
It was there she recognized Fern shortly after joining Ember's Wolfriders. The recognition was like a stepping stone to help her adapt more quickly to the life outside the desert and it granted her a daughter which she gave her own cub name, Warmsand.

Years passed.
After she lost her lifemate to humans under the lead of the Djun's son, she had grown bitter towards the human cubs Ember and Teir had taken under their wings over the years. From all she had been taught, it didn't feel right to her to live as such.
When Wolfdancer, son to Ember and Teir formed his own pack to take distance from the adopted humans, Nightsky was eager to follow. Her daughter Warmsand decided to stay together with Sandbramble, not sharing Nightsky's sentiments as the young Wolfrider had grown up with a few of the adopted humans.


Often seen wearing:
Nightsky wears a dark blue bodysuit of soft leathers with long but tight sleeves, her shoulders bare. Near black thigh high boots with no heels cover her long legs. Her bodysuit has playful stitching across the seams of the leathers. Sometimes she wears a semi transparent silken vest of a light blue color with baggy sleeves, typical Sun Folk fashion.

A thin dark blue headband is tied around her head with some sky ornaments dangling from brown leather straps by her temples. On the right there are two moons and a star and on the left a sun. She wears no earrings.

During the winter, she wears a white furred poncho.


Hair: Deep black with a blue hue, falling down her back with thick locks which are formed by metal rings around the collections of hair (think dreadlocks but not). Each lock has either two or three rings spread along the length on uneven heights. The hair is smooth and straight but thick.
Eyes: A pale but bright blue, long thick eyelashes.
